Soaking:Prepare a basin of cold water mixed with a neutral detergent and fully submerge the garment; soaking for 5–15 minutes is sufficient. This duration allows surface dust and sweat stains to dissolve effectively. Soaking for longer than 30 minutes can cause dissolved dirt to seep back into the fibers and may lead to loose embroidery loops or stiffening of the base fabric.

Cleaning: Use the pads of your fingers to gently press the fabric and lightly rub soiled areas, avoiding vigorous scrubbing of the towel embroidery design itself. The cleaning process takes 5–10 minutes; there is no need for prolonged, repetitive scrubbing.

Rinsing: Rinse repeatedly under running water until all traces of foam are gone. This takes 5–10 minutesand ensures no detergent residue remains in the embroidery stitches, which could otherwise cause the fabric to yellow or the embroidery threads to become brittle over time.

Dewatering:Roll the garment in a dry towel and press gently to absorb excess moisture. This takes 2–3 minutes. Never wring, twist, or pull the garment, as this can cause the towel embroidery design to shift or lose its shape.

Adjusting duration for special cases
Everyday garments with only light surface dust: Soak for 5 minutes followed by a quick, gentle wash; the entire process can be completed within 15 minutes.
Garments with stubborn oil or other stains: Limit soaking to no more than 15 minutes and spot-clean the specific stained areas. Keep the total process time under 30 minutes and avoid soaking the stained areas for extended periods.
Delicate items with silk or mesh base fabrics: Reduce soaking time to under 5 minutes, use a gentler touch, and keep the total process time under 20 minutes to prevent the base fabric from warping due to prolonged water exposure.
