Pre-wash Precautions
Turn the garment inside out completely so the towel embroidery faces inward; this prevents fingernails or jewelry from snagging the embroidery loops and causing threads to come loose during washing.
Perform a spot test for colorfastness: gently wipe an inconspicuous corner of the embroidery with a damp towel to ensure no color bleeds before proceeding with the full wash, thereby avoiding large-scale color transfer.
Wash separately by hand; do not mix with dark-colored items or garments prone to heavy color bleeding, as loose dye can settle into the crevices of the embroidery loops and become difficult to remove.

Washing Process Precautions
Use cold water below 30°C throughout the process; never use hot water, as high temperatures can cause embroidery threads to shrink, the base fabric to warp, and dye stability to fail, leading to severe color loss.
Strictly limit soaking time to 5–15 minutes; prolonged soaking allows dissolved dirt to re-penetrate the fibers and may loosen the securing stitches at the base of the embroidery loops.
Use only neutral detergent (such as those for silk or wool); do not use alkaline laundry powders, bar soap, or bleach. A small amount of table salt may be added to the water to help set the color and reduce the risk of bleeding or smudging.
Do not vigorously rub or scrub the embroidered area; gently press soiled spots with the pads of your fingers. For stubborn stains, use a soft-bristled brush to gently brush withthe direction of the loops-never scrub forcefully against the grain of the loops.
For composite towel embroidery featuring sequins or beads, do not rub the decorated areas directly; instead, use a cotton swab dipped in diluted detergent to spot-clean stains, preventing the decorations from detaching and snagging or cutting the surrounding embroidery threads.
