How Often Should You Wash Fabrics With Towel Embroidery?

Apparel (sweatshirts, T-shirts, jackets)
Everyday wear: Wash after every 3–4 wears; frequent washing accelerates wear on the looped pile and causes raised patterns to flatten.
Special cases: If the item is heavily sweated in or has visible stains, wash it separately immediately to prevent stains from seeping deep into the embroidery threads, making them difficult to clean later.

Home textiles (bedding, cushions, throw pillows)
Bedding in direct contact with the skin (sheets, duvet covers): Wash once a week; this ensures hygiene without causing excessive wear to the towel embroidery texture.
Decorative cushions/throw pillows: If not in direct contact with the skin during daily use, washing every 2–3 weeks is sufficient; use a lint roller to remove surface dust in the meantime.

Adjustments for special conditions
Plum rain season in the South or prolonged exposure to humid environments: Shorten the washing cycle by about 30% to prevent mold growth within the embroidery threads.
Towel-embroidered items used by infants or people with sensitive skin: Wash every 2–3 days to minimize skin irritation caused by residual sebum or dead skin cells.
